I must sound like a broken record but things have been CRAZY around here. I guess it never really slows down when you have kids. We pulled off the annual family yard sale last Saturday and it was pretty successful. It was one of our slowest customer wise but we still sold a ton of stuff. Chrisanna came to help and the kids came to shop! Seriously, it was so funny to watch Jake and Brady shopping at the yard sale. They wanted it all and being the good aunties we are we sold them everything for one penny! It was fun.
After the yard sale was over we had 3 full days to just play with all the cousins. The kids loved it. They rode motorcycles, had sleepovers, played on the inflatable slip and slide, boys went golfing, girls got a trip to Claires & ice cream, and got spoiled with lots of treats from Nana and Papa. They had a blast and were so wiped out. In fact, my kids are still sleeping this morning at 7:45. They're trying to catch up from the late nights.
I am thrilled that it's summer time and that the routine has slowed down a bit. The kids were so ready to have a break and I have tons of ideas running through my head of things I want to do with them this summer. We've got soccer camps, VBS, maybe a dance camp, swim lessons, movie nights in the park, and art camp planned so far. It's going to be a great summer. I'll try to blog more often, with pictures (that's for you Chris), if I can. I can hear the kiddos waking so I am off to make breakfast!
I'm glad your yardsale went well. Our was ok, but not great. I think we were spoiled by our success last year! Sounds like a really fun week with all the kids!

We had SO much fun in Yakima. We're always sad to leave the family, but at least the beach will be here before we know it. YEA!!! The kids loved the yard sale and you are a bunch of sweet aunts. I'm sure you made at least two dollars off of them. :) And I loved shopping at the sale too. We were all exhausted when we got home. We had such a great time. Sounds like you have a fun and busy summer ahead. Lots of awesome things for the kids to do. And yes, please post some pictures for me. Love you!

Jake and Brady are a crack up. They were SO excited to go do the yard sale with you guys. :) Can't wait to see what everyone brought home!
