I must sound like a broken record but things have been CRAZY around here. I guess it never really slows down when you have kids. We pulled off the annual family yard sale last Saturday and it was pretty successful. It was one of our slowest customer wise but we still sold a ton of stuff. Chrisanna came to help and the kids came to shop! Seriously, it was so funny to watch Jake and Brady shopping at the yard sale. They wanted it all and being the good aunties we are we sold them everything for one penny! It was fun.
After the yard sale was over we had 3 full days to just play with all the cousins. The kids loved it. They rode motorcycles, had sleepovers, played on the inflatable slip and slide, boys went golfing, girls got a trip to Claires & ice cream, and got spoiled with lots of treats from Nana and Papa. They had a blast and were so wiped out. In fact, my kids are still sleeping this morning at 7:45. They're trying to catch up from the late nights.
I am thrilled that it's summer time and that the routine has slowed down a bit. The kids were so ready to have a break and I have tons of ideas running through my head of things I want to do with them this summer. We've got soccer camps, VBS, maybe a dance camp, swim lessons, movie nights in the park, and art camp planned so far. It's going to be a great summer. I'll try to blog more often, with pictures (that's for you Chris), if I can. I can hear the kiddos waking so I am off to make breakfast!
